Sam Law
This freshman superstar arrived at Stanford fresh from her days of
underground field hockey practices in Central Park. While that experience
may or may not help us in the rainy months when fields on campus are
closed, Sam is a benefit to the team in more ways than one. With her
killer speed, don't be surprised to see her whizzing past you deep as
you're huffing and puffing. And she's already showing her scrappiness
with bids that make many fourth-year players drool. She's the life of the
party on and off the field, and we expect great things from her in the
years to come.
